Role Description The Masonry Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, FL, responsible for supervising daily masonry operations and crews on active job sites. This role oversees scheduling, coordinating, and directing masonry teams, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards. The Masonry Superintendent reviews drawings, manages materials and equipment, and works with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors to resolve issues and keep projects on track. Daily tasks include monitoring productivity, enforcing safety protocols, conducting site walk-throughs, and documenting progress, issues, and changes. The role also involves mentoring crew leaders, supporting training on best practices, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

• Candidates should possess strong masonry skills, including experience with structural and decorative masonry work.
• Candidates should possess skills in cement work, including mixing, placing, finishing, and curing concrete.
• Candidates should possess brickwork skills, including laying, cutting, and aligning bricks for walls, facades, and other structures.
• Candidates should possess stonework skills, including setting, shaping, and finishing natural and manufactured stone elements.
• Candidates should possess renovation experience, including repair, restoration, and modification of existing masonry structures.
• Experience supervising construction crews, managing schedules, and coordinating with subcontractors and inspectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and ability to enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to direct diverse teams and resolve site issues promptly.
• Previous experience as a Foreperson, Superintendent, or similar leadership role in masonry or concrete construction.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to various job sites in the Tampa, FL area.
