Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our school-based team in Conyers, GA. This full-time opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping students improve mobility, independence, and participation in the educational setting while working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will support students with diverse physical needs and play an important role in helping them achieve their educational and developmental goals.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Georgia Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred
• School-based experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Assist students in developing mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional skills
• Document student progress and treatment activities accurately and timely
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, teachers, families, and school staff
• Support the use of adaptive equipment and mobility devices
• Maintain compliance with school, district, and state requirements
