Travel Laboratory Pathology Assistant

ARMStaffing is looking for a Histology Technologist, Histology Lab (Day Shift) in Atlanta, Georgia.

Atlanta, GA

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

The Histology Technologist will work in the Pathology Laboratory processing tissue specimens, embedding, cutting, and staining slides. The role supports critical laboratory operations and includes specimen accessioning using the Cerner system. Technologists will collaborate closely with Pathology staff to ensure accurate and efficient specimen processing.

• Receive and accession surgical specimens into Cerner.
• Collect tissue blocks from Pathology staff.
• Process tissue samples, including embedding, cutting, and staining slides.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pathology Laboratory.

• ASCP certification as a Histotechnologist or Histotechnician (HT/HLT).
• Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program or an Associate's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences.
