Accounting Manager

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Assist the Accounting Partner in managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Assist Accounting Partner in hiring and managing accounting staff.
• Supervise and review accounting staff’s work.
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy in a timely manner.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for clients to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide support and training to clients.
• Ensure an accurate and timely month end and year end close for clients.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements for clients.
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Responsible for client invoicing and firm’s Accounts Receivable.
• Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager or Accounting Supervisor. Or demonstrated leadership skills and experience within the accounting department.
• Fluent computer skills in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and MS Office.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and account principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
