Senior level The opportunity A leading national engineering firm is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to help lead its healthcare work across the US. You'll run hospital and healthcare projects from first concept through to the end of construction. You'll also be a senior voice in the mechanical team, guiding engineers day to day and helping them grow. Lead mechanical design on healthcare projects of all sizes, from concept design to completion of construction
Design HVAC systems for complex clinical spaces such as operating rooms, isolation rooms and central plants
Be the main technical and client-facing lead, managing relationships, the project team and the schedule
Supervise the mechanical staff's day-to-day work
Mentor engineers on technical skills and career development
Work closely with the in-house electrical, plumbing, fire protection and other teams What you'll bring
A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
A PE licence (Ideally)
7+ years of experience in an A/E consulting environment
A proven track record of managing projects successfully
Strong HVAC design expertise and a working knowledge of the related disciplines
Healthcare experience is highly desirable Package
