About the job

Overview

Intuit is committed to powering prosperity around the world. For our accounting-firm customers, that mission has entered a new chapter: we have declared publicly that accountants are customers, not just a channel, and we are building for them accordingly.

We are seeking a Staff, Product Marketing Manager to help build and execute go-to-market strategy for a defined segment, product, or workstream within our accountant business. This is an individual contributor role for a product marketer who can take strategic direction and turn it into a sharp, channel-ready GTM plan, and who is building toward owning a full Strategy Package independently.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a strong individual contributor. Bring rigor, craft, and follow-through to the work in front of you, and raise the bar for the team around you.
  • Balance strategy and execution. Be equally comfortable helping shape a plan and doing the work yourself.
  • Work AI-native. Use AI to speed up research, competitive synthesis, and first drafts of positioning and messaging, so your output reflects more than headcount alone would allow.
  • Contribute to the PMM Strategy Package for your area: help define ICP and segmentation, track the market and competitive landscape, and develop the positioning and messaging that channel teams write from.
  • Build accountant-facing positioning
  • translate a growing understanding of how firms in your area work into positioning, narrative, and go-to-market that lands, for the piece of the portfolio you own.
  • Align with the broader strategy
  • when your area intersects with other product marketing efforts serving the same firms, partner with the Strategy Package owner to keep your GTM in step with the overall segment plan and ICP.
  • Execute through the channel
  • Partner across marketing and sales channels to run campaigns, events, and content that support a consistent narrative.
  • Ground your work in customer and competitive insight
  • Use win/loss, buyer research, activation data, and competitive intelligence to inform your recommendations. Track performance against a measurement plan and course-correct as needed.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience; MBA a plus.
  • 5-8+ years in marketing or product marketing, including some go-to-market experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute a GTM plan against an established strategy, with growing comfort taking ownership in ambiguous or developing markets.
  • Product marketer who can translate market, product, and customer insight into positioning, messaging, and go-to-market that ships.
  • Demonstrated fluency using AI to do real work, with a track record of using it to raise the quality and speed of marketing output.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to align peers and cross-functional partners around a shared narrative.
  • Track record of principled, data-based decisions and contributing to measurable business outcomes.
  • Cross-functional influence without direct authority; comfortable with ambiguity and fast movement.
  • Familiarity with accounting or tax software, B2B SaaS, ERP or financial management, or the accountant and partner channel a plus.
