Join our rapidly growing Securitas Electronic Security Technology and Solutions team as an Installation Project Coordinator! In this dynamic role, you will provide essential leadership across all aspects of project management, ensuring project delivery meets our exceptional standards while maintaining customer satisfaction and achieving financial targets. As the Installation Project Coordinator, you will own the entire project lifecycle—from planning and execution to monitoring, controlling, and closing projects successfully. You will lead projects in systems integration, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet our quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects using established project management principles and techniques tailored to each project.
- Creating comprehensive planning documents such as project plans, scope documents, statements of work (SOWs), charters, and schedules.
- Developing sub-plans like communications, quality assurance, resource, procurement, and deployment plans.
- Managing project issues and risks through identification, resolution, change management, and effective communication.
- Documenting and prioritizing project change requests, facilitating the approval process, and re-planning as necessary.
- Setting performance expectations with resource managers regarding project resources.
- Ensuring adherence to quality assurance and control standards throughout the project.
- Executing project closeout activities, including transitioning to operations teams.
- Collaborating across departments to ensure project success.
- Monitoring and reporting key metrics, including customer satisfaction levels.
- Leading project deliverables and fostering innovation to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Coaching and mentoring new team members as they join our organization.
- Providing support to various groups as needed.
- Taking on additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in a related security industry position, or 5 years of relevant experience.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Proven success in Project Management leadership, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously for a minimum of two years.
- Strong understanding of Project Management fundamentals, methodologies, and tools.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including documentation of findings and recommendations.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
