Primary Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for the Mobile UCI production rollout.
• Create and modify CAD designs and technical drawings as production needs evolve.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure and manufacture parts.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers for components such as gaskets, wiring, and other mechanical parts.
• Assist with environmental testing activities.
• Establish inventory structures for new parts and assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and assembly issues, including travel to assembly locations such as GTS in Marietta as needed. Qualifications Education / Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar field with 2+ years of experience; OR
• Associate degree, technical certifications (machinist, CNC operator, etc.) with 2+ years of experience; OR
• 5+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• We are also very interested in candidates with hands-on machining experience who use Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools and are looking to transition into a broader engineering role. Required Skills
• 3D CAD design experience using Autodesk Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Technical drawing creation and interpretation.
• Knowledge of tolerancing practices. Preferred Skills
• Experience designing electronics enclosures.
• Familiarity with GD&T concepts. Location & Travel
• During peak production periods, on-site presence could be required up to 5 days per week.
• Ability to travel to assembly and production locations as needed.
