Continuous Improvement Engineer Braselton, GA | Supporting Southeast Manufacturing Sites Turn Lean principles into practical improvements on the manufacturing floor. Nefab is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer who enjoys solving problems, coaching teams, and helping employees and leaders build better ways of working. Based in Braselton, GA, you will support manufacturing sites across the Southeast through hands-on improvement projects, Lean training, and change management. You will help advance The Nefab Way, our continuous improvement and Lean transformation framework, with a focus on measurable results and lasting change. What You Will Do
- Lead Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and Gemba walks to identify waste and improve manufacturing processes.
- Deliver Lean leadership training to strengthen local management capability.
- Train employees at all levels in methods such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and SMED.
- Coach cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute improvement projects.
- Guide teams through change, building participation and ownership of new ways of working.
- Provide hands-on support on the manufacturing floor and mentor local Lean champions.
- Standardize successful improvements and share best practices across regional sites.
- Track and communicate results to demonstrate impact and sustain progress.
- Build strong relationships with site leaders, production teams, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate a regional Lean network, conduct site assessments, and explore digital tools that support continuous improvement. What you bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience implementing Lean practices, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven success facilitating Lean training, Kaizen workshops, and change management initiatives.
- Strong working knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, TPM, and related Lean methods.
- Demonstrated coaching and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage employees and leaders at different levels.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- High proficiency in English. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Availability to work from Braselton, GA, and provide on-site support to Southeast manufacturing facilities.
