Oversee daily hotel accounting operations, including revenue audits, cash management, bank deposits, and compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, vendor payments, and direct-bill credit approvals to ensure accurate financial transactions. Prepare and distribute daily financial reports, cash management reports, variance analyses, and other operational accounting reports for hotel leadership. Partner with hotel management to complete month-end close, financial reporting, P&L reviews, reconciliations, and budget forecasting activities. Maintain strong financial controls by auditing cashier banks, investigating cash variances, monitoring expenses, reconciling accounts, and ensuring adherence to company and regulatory requirements.
