Immigration Attorney (Student Visas)

• Ascendia Law is looking for an independent immigration attorney (student visas)

We're expanding our network of trusted counsel and are seeking an experienced immigration attorney to collaborate with us on a case-by-case basis as an independent contractor.

• 3+ years of experience in F-1 and J-1 visas, OPT, and related student visa matters for foreign students in the U.S.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, or an LL.M. with bar admission
• Admitted and in good standing in any U.S. state
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Spanish speaking is a plus
• South Florida resident is a plus, but the work can be done remotely from any U.S. state

• Flexible, case-by-case engagements
• Work with an international client base, primarily from Latin America and Europe
• A collaborative relationship with a firm focused on cross-border business and corporate matters
