Tax Specialist - Year-Round

This exciting role allows you to leverage your tax expertise and entrepreneurial spirit while engaging with the community to support customers with their tax needs. As a TurboTax Local Service Expert, you'll play a crucial role in helping customers navigate their financial journeys, embodying Intuit's mission to "Power Prosperity Around the World."

In this position, you'll work on-site at a TurboTax office, collaborating with fellow financial professionals to serve both in-person and virtual clients who utilize Intuit TurboTax products. Your main responsibility will be providing comprehensive tax return preparation and expert tax advice, while also connecting clients with a broad team of specialists covering various financial services. You will work closely with customers, building a deep understanding of their unique financial situations, and guiding them through the complexity of taxes, be it a simple W-2 filing or a complex business income scenario.

Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to grow TurboTax's client base within the local community, establishing lasting relationships and fostering customer loyalty through various outreach and marketing initiatives.

• Provide Tax Expertise: Deliver hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for a range of tax situations. Facilitate tax reviews, uncover potential deductions, and provide strategic future tax planning advice.
• Be a Community Ambassador: Actively grow a new local customer base for TurboTax through outreach, marketing initiatives, and local events like financial literacy workshops.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem: Guide clients by understanding their complete financial profiles and connecting them with services like bookkeeping and financial planning.
• Build Relationships: Foster long-term trust with clients, transforming one-time transactions into ongoing partnerships.
• Deliver a Best-in-Class Customer Experience: Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism, empathy, and genuine assistance in achieving their financial goals.

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience filing individual 1040 tax returns with professional tax software.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to additional services or complex tax areas.
• Ability to work on-site at a TurboTax office for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.

Must reside in the United States and possess any necessary state licenses or certifications.
