US healthcare practices, orthopedic groups among them, have more charts to code than certified coders to code them. We're building a remote team of certified coders in the Philippines to code directly for these US clients, and this is one of the first seats. If you hold a CPC or CCS and want long-term work from home on real US cases, read on.
You'll work from your own home office, inside your client's systems, during US business hours. You'll code real US cases and send provider queries to the US team when documentation isn't clear. Our hiring process is short: apply in a few minutes, take a 20-minute open-book coding test, and record a short video introduction. A recruiter will be in touch after you apply.
A great first year looks like this: you know your client's EHR and payer rules cold, your audits come back clean, and the team brings you the hard orthopedic and modifier questions. As the team grows, there will be room for senior coder, QA auditor and team lead roles.
COSC, CEMC or CRC; PHRN; ModMed or Epic experience in an orthopedic practice.
