Position Overview
Academy ABA is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on Controller /
Finance Operations Manager to oversee the financial operations of our growing multi-
location healthcare organization.
This role is responsible for accounts payable, reconciliations, monthly financial reporting,
cash management, and accounting operations across multiple entities. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building structure and systems, and is capable of managing both day-to-day accounting functions and higher-level financial reporting responsibilities.
This is a key leadership role that will work directly with executive leadership to improve financial visibility, operational efficiency, and reporting accuracy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee monthly close process
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements
- Produce Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Reports
- Oversee accounts payable functions and vendor management
- Perform and oversee bank, payroll, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities
- Coordinate with billing and operations teams
- Improve accounting systems and workflows
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting
- Support leadership with operational financial insights
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Strong reconciliation and financial reporting experience
- Experience managing monthly close processes
- Multi-entity accounting experience
- Advanced Excel proficiency
Preferred:
- Healthcare or ABA industry experience
- Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, CentralReach, or Paycom
- Experience in insurance reimbursement environments

Pay
$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
