Job Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated self-starter with 6 - 10 years of public accounting tax experience to lead tax and accounting engagements for privately held businesses as well as nonprofit organizations. Working closely with clients and being their primary point of contact,
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate and partnership federal and state income tax returns
- Complete complex federal and state tax research culminating in summaries and recommendations for presentation
- Remain abreast of changing tax laws & policies
- Provide year-end individual and business planning services
- Develop & cultivate professional client relationships
- Assist with staff development
- Analyze annual trial balances including account reconciliations with year-end journal entries
Requirements
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, presentation and PC skills including accounting software proficiency (QuickBooks and CCH tax software proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet goals & deadlines and develop professional relationships with clients and all levels of staff
- Prior multi-state/multi-entity experience is a plus
