Concierge Customer Service Representative

To provide exceptional customer service in a remote environment, the full-time Concierge Customer Service Representative will manage inquiries related to health benefits, assist members and providers, and handle precertification calls while maintaining accurate documentation. Key responsibilities Respond to telephone and email inquiries from members and providers within defined service standards Negotiate with providers regarding plans without network agreements and assist members with healthcare questions Document all interactions in the system-based call log and manage incoming and outgoing calls related to precertification Required qualifications Minimum of two years of customer service or call center experience in a healthcare-related role Associate degree or higher preferred; minimum high school diploma or GED required Strong understanding of medical terminology and provider organizations Proficiency in Microsoft applications and strong computer skills Experience with insurance verification or precertification preferred
