Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have broad accounting experience, proven record executing process improvements, and comfortable “rolling up their sleeves”.
- Close the monthly and year-end books, ensuring transactions are accurately reflected in the GL and compliance with GAAP
- Manage and coordinate with other teams (Engineering, Operations, etc.) to ensure accurate cost accounting expenses for Materials, Labor, Overhead, BOM, Routers, etc.
- Estimate new and proposed product costs and run standard cost roll-ups on the ERP system
- Ensures all account reconciliations are prepared timely
- Monthly, weekly, and daily internal reports to management
- Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to internal stakeholders
- Coordinates A/P and A/R activity with other team members.
- Analyzes actual results vs. plan.
- Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
- Supports commissions calculations for internal and external sales reps.
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Work with SVP Finance and Corporate Controller to develop policies, and procedures, including the design and implementation of processes and internal controls
- Other special finance and accounting projects as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, CPA preferred.
- 8+ years accounting experience preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Firm grasp of ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze financial data.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
