Vice President of Accounting

A well-known blue chip Consumer business is recruiting a Chief Accountant. You will operate at a senior level, reporting to the CFO and be an integral part of the Senior Leadership team. You will be an accomplished leader with the ability to influence at the highest level. You will report to the CFO, partner with senior leadership and have significant exposure to the board and shareholders.

The business is going through a period of significant expansion, continuing to build on the impressive growth achieved to date. The Chief Accountant to lead its financial reporting and control function. You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with Bermuda regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making at senior leadership level.

Beyond core reporting responsibilities, the Chief Accountant will act as a technical expert across the business, providing guidance on complex accounting matters and supporting new transactions or strategic initiatives. You will play a central role in strengthening internal controls and governance processes while leading and developing a high-performing finance team. The position also requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders, including the CFO and operational leadership, to support business planning and decision-making.

You will be a qualified accountant, such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA, with strong technical accounting expertise and a track record in a regulated environment. Experience within Consumer or Manufacturing sectors is highly advantageous, particularly with exposure to regulatory frameworks. You will bring proven leadership capability, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international setting.
