Real Estate Appraiser

This is a full-time remote role for a Real Estate Appraiser. The Real Estate Appraiser will perform research and analysis on residential and other real estate properties, including reviewing market data, comparable sales, and local trends. Daily tasks include inspecting properties virtually or in person as required, documenting property characteristics, and applying accepted appraisal and valuation methodologies. The role involves preparing detailed written appraisal reports, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations, and responding to questions or revisions from clients and reviewers. The appraiser will collaborate with team members, manage multiple assignments and deadlines, and use appraisal software and online tools to maintain accurate records and efficient workflows.

• Candidates should possess strong Real Estate Appraisal and Appraisal skills, with familiarity with industry standards and methodologies.
• Candidates should possess solid Valuation and Analytical Skills to interpret market data, comparables, and property-specific information.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Residential Real Estate, including local market conditions, property types, and relevant regulations.
• Relevant state licensure or certification as a real estate appraiser (or eligibility to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe).
• Proficiency with appraisal software tools, databases, and common productivity applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines across multiple assignments.
• Experience in client-facing roles or professional services is beneficial; a degree in real estate, finance, economics, or a related field is a plus.
