We are seeking a motivated Remote Sales Manager to lead and develop a sales team while continuing to contribute to the agency's insurance sales efforts from a home office. This position is well suited to a people-oriented, self-driven individual who values flexibility, strong income potential, and a genuine path toward senior leadership within a small, growth-focused brokerage. Training, tools, licensing support, and mentorship are provided, and prior insurance experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a remote team of insurance brokers, setting clear expectations and sales goals.
- Conduct virtual consultations with prospective clients who have requested information and guidance, and model effective consultative selling for the team.
- Present clear, easy-to-understand life and health insurance solutions tailored to each client's needs.
- Guide team members through onboarding, licensing support, and ongoing product and sales training.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, role-play sessions, and one-on-one coaching to strengthen sales skills and product knowledge.
- Monitor individual and team performance against sales targets, and use results to identify coaching opportunities and drive improvement.
- Maintain accurate sales activity and client records in the customer relationship management (CRM) system, and ensure team members do the same.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent follow-up, education, and service.
- Contribute to a supportive, high-performance team culture that develops future leaders.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Motivated, self-driven, and goal-oriented, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working remotely and managing a flexible schedule independently.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a consultative approach to sales.
- Prior experience in sales, team leadership, or customer service is helpful but not required.
- Willingness to obtain a Life and Health insurance license; licensing support and guidance are provided.
- Reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and a quiet workspace for client calls and team meetings.
