TurboTax Local Service Expert

Intuit is looking for enthusiastic and motivated professionals to join our team as year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts. This is an outstanding opportunity to blend tax expertise with community engagement and entrepreneurial spirit to assist customers in navigating their tax needs. As a TurboTax Local Service Expert, you will act as a trusted advisor, empowering clients to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting our mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World."

In this position, you will work onsite at one of our TurboTax locations, collaborating with a team of financial experts to serve our customers both in-person and virtually. Your main focus will be the preparation of tax returns while providing expert advice and software support. You will also facilitate direct connections between customers and specialists in areas such as business tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning. What You'll Do:

• Provide Tax Expertise: Deliver hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services, tackling a range of tax situations from simple W-2 filings to complex business income scenarios. Conduct discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and provide future tax planning guidance.
• Be a Community Ambassador: Cultivate a strong local customer base by engaging in outreach, grassroots marketing, and building partnerships. Serve as the face of TurboTax in your community, converting prospects into long-term clients.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem: Develop a comprehensive understanding of each client’s financial picture and connect them with relevant Intuit services, ensuring they leave with a clear path forward.
• Build Relationships: Establish trust and rapport with clients, converting single transactions into long-lasting relationships.

• Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new service areas, including bookkeeping and payroll.
• Ability to work onsite at a TurboTax location a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development, including compliance and proficiency-based upskilling.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus. Attributes &
