YKK AP America Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate designated construction projects. The role ensures project goals are achieved within established timelines and budgets while managing project personnel, communications, documentation, procurement, reporting, and scope adherence. Responsibilities
- Coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure milestones are met on schedule and within the designated budget
- Maintain clear, timely, and concise communication with both internal teams and external clients, while keeping accurate digital and physical project records
- Review project proposals and plans to define project phases, timelines, budget limits, and material procurement
- Collaborate with project personnel to offer technical advice and resolve constraints
- Prepares project reports for management, clients, and key stakeholders
- Review ongoing status reports adjusting schedules and plans as necessary to keep the project on track
- Maintain strict adherence to the project scope through order management tracking, verifying alignment with project shop drawings and contract documents Skills
- Associate's degree in project management or related field, plus 1 - 3 years of experience in construction project management
- Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications is required
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
- Possess strong technical proficiency in to effectively oversee job operations
