Outside Sales & Business Development Manager — Power Generation / Turbine Outage Services Outage Support Resource (OSR) | Full-Time | Field-based, regular travel required Recruiters/agencies: please don't reach out — we're hiring directly and won't be working through agencies for this role. We're looking for someone who already lives in this industry — you know the turbine and outage business, you have a real, verifiable network of plant and industry contacts, and you've actually turned those relationships into awarded work and revenue before. If that's not you yet, this isn't the right fit, and that's okay. What you'll do

• Grow OSR's presence with existing customers and open new accounts across the power generation / turbine services / industrial field-service space
• Use your existing relationships to surface opportunities before they hit formal bid — with Plant Managers, Outage Managers, Maintenance/Ops Managers, Project Managers, and Procurement
• Track scheduled and forced outages, inspections, repairs, overhauls, and other field-service events across your territory
• Own opportunities start to finish: first contact → RFQ/RFP → proposal → negotiation → award → handoff to Operations
• Get in front of people — plant visits, trade shows, industry events
• Keep the CRM clean and the pipeline honest
• Work closely with OSR leadership and Ops to make sure what you sell is what we can actually deliver What you need (non-negotiable)
• 2 to 5 years of direct sales or business development experience in power generation, turbine services, outage services, or closely related industrial field-service work
• An established, verifiable network in this space — not a LinkedIn contact list, actual relationships you can activate
• A track record of converting relationships into POs and revenue , not just managing inbound bids
• Working knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and rotating equipment
• Real understanding of outage planning cycles and how this work actually gets awarded
• Comfort talking credibly to both plant/technical people and procurement/executive contacts Nice to have
• Experience across multiple plants, customers, or territories
• Deep knowledge of major turbine platforms and the players around them
• Background selling technical field labor, repair, maintenance, or outage-related services
