Summer Intern - Commercial Real Estate Brokerage

As a COUNCIL intern, you will work on live transactions, learn directly from experienced brokers, and build a professional network across the Southeast retail real estate community. This is 10–12 week summer internship beginning in June 2027 and based onsite in our Atlanta, GA office. Outstanding interns will be considered for future full-time opportunities.

You will work directly alongside the COUNCIL broker team, one of the highest-performing retail teams in the Southeast. You’ll learn the ins and outs of retail real estate brokerage while supporting a team that represents regional and national clients expanding their store counts and repositioning their properties throughout Georgia and the Southeast.

• Conduct market research and create client-ready presentation materials
• Help prepare Letters of Intent and Purchase Contracts, and learn how deals are structured
• Help manage transaction pipelines for the brokerage team, from first outreach through closing
• Participate in client and partner meetings and market tours

• Is a curious, self-motivated learner eager to apply their coursework to real transactions
• Has a professional presence and exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
• Is enthusiastic about commercial real estate and looking to develop a brokerage career

• Rising Junior or Senior (two or more years of undergraduate coursework completed) pursuing a degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing or a related field, with a strong academic record
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Preferred: familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop)
• A real estate license is a plus, but not required
