Business Development Specialist – SMB

We are looking for a driven Business Development Specialist to manage the full sales cycle and drive growth within the small and mid-sized business (SMB) market. You will engage directly with business owners and decision-makers to position our professional services, manage pipelines, and close new business.

• Full-Cycle Sales: Conduct discovery meetings, deliver tailored presentations, handle objections, and lead commercial negotiations through to closing and onboarding.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate tracking of leads, proposals, and next steps using CRM platforms (Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot).
• Networking & Events: Represent the company at local chambers of commerce, industry events, and conferences across Greater Atlanta to generate leads.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Inside Sales to refine messaging and campaign effectiveness based on market feedback.
• Target Achievement: Meet or exceed targets for qualified opportunities, proposals, client acquisition, and revenue generation.

• Experience: 4–7+ years of B2B sales/business development experience managing the full sales cycle.
• Industry Background: Must have experience selling Accounting, Bookkeeping, Payroll, Tax, Financial, Insurance, Banking, HR, or professional services to SMBs.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills tailored for entrepreneurs and senior decision-makers.
• Tools & Logistics: Proficiency in CRM tools and willingness to travel locally across the Greater Atlanta area for client meetings and networking events.
